hi all, i would like to find a way to transfer keyboard in such a way over the network, so that entering text on the remote keyboard will show up on the local monitor. what i want to do is have F1-F3 console on the machine with the keyboard and another 3 consoles on the machine with the remote monitor. would it be possible to "share" the devs for the ttsy over the network using , say SMB? if i have not made my intentions clear, pls tell me , and i'll try to be more precise... thank you all, Alex -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

I dont think, this is what i want. The idea is, that i use the computer with the keyboard attached primarily as my X machine and that when i press ALT+F1 or F2, my X will dissapear and show console 1 or 2. But, when i press ALT+F3 - F6 my X should stay and the keyboard input should be transferred over to my second computer, and be treated there, as if it came from the "local" keyboard, thus showing console output on the second computer. thank you for your reply, Alex
