In Suse 9.2 Pro I installed many fonts from a free site so many that I slowed my machine. So I removed all but six and rebooted. Here is what is wierd the standard OOo1.1.4 still finds all the fonts. The parallel install of OOo1.1.5 does as well. Does OOo make its own copies of the fonts? Where can I find this? I only want these extra fonts for wordprocessing not to slow my machine. I'm using OOo 2.0 RC1 so the information may not apply to your version. You can either copy or link all the fonts to OOo if you look at spadmin under fonts. I generally link to where my fonts are stored when installing OOo. This is where the fonts are located on my system but as I said this is not the SuSE version of OOo, so you may have to investigate further. /opt/openoffice.org2.0/share/fonts/truetype -- Regards, Graham Smith
