Hello List Updated my system yesterday from 15.2 to 15.3. Basically the update went just fine, buuuut all cyrus-imapd binaries are gone!!! Thought I've read the release notes and understood under Point: 3.2.1 Berkeley DB removed from packages So, is in SUSE Terms cyrus-sasl = cyrus-imapd. If so, bad luck for me and I'm sorry for my ignorance. If not, wasn't it worth spend one sentence in the release note that cyrus-imapd will be removed as well? And even better all cyrus-sasl thingy's are still available/installed on my system. And yes there are still people out using openSUSE as a mailserver WITH cyrus. Second question i have. Is it save to use the "sle" repostitories showing up after the updates since I have no intention to make a sles server out of my openSUSE. # | Alias | Name | Enabled | GPG Check | Refresh | URI --+-----------------------------------+---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------+---------+-----------+---------+------------------------------------------------------------------ 1 | repo-${releasever}-non-oss | openSUSE-15.3 Non-OSS | Yes | (r ) Yes | No | http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/15.3/repo/non-oss/ 2 | repo-${releasever}-oss | openSUSE-15.3 OSS | Yes | (r ) Yes | No | http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/15.3/repo/oss/ 3 | repo-${releasever}-update-non-oss | openSUSE-15.3 Updates Non-OSS | Yes | (r ) Yes | Yes | http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/15.3/non-oss/ 4 | repo-${releasever}-update-oss | openSUSE-15.3 Updates OSS | Yes | (r ) Yes | Yes | http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/15.3/oss/ 5 | repo-backports-debug-update | Update repository with updates for openSUSE Leap debuginfo packages from openSUSE Backports | No | ---- | ---- | http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/15.3/backports_debug/ 6 | repo-backports-update | Update repository of openSUSE Backports | Yes | (r ) Yes | Yes | http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/15.3/backports/ 7 | repo-sle-debug-update | Update repository with debuginfo for updates from SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 | No | ---- | ---- | http://download.opensuse.org/debug/update/leap/15.3/sle/ 8 | repo-sle-update | Update repository with updates from SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 | Yes | (r ) Yes | Yes | http://download.opensuse.org/update/leap/15.3/sle/ Thank you and best regards J.

Open bug report.

Then someone should step up as maintainer. Leap 15.3 is mostly reusing SLE binaries, so it is not only "safe", it is "necessary" (or even "mandatory") to get updates.

Do not use "dup" to update stable releases. This is expected behavior.
Will update the bugreport as well.
It is not a bug. This is long standing behavior on "zypper dup".

For some reason the list seems to be a state secret :( It requires a login to see.

obs has always required an account to download files, which is what the above link does, unfortunately for some reason obs see's that file as a binary and won't show it in the webui (which is probably a bug). -- Simon Lees (Simotek) http://simotek.net Emergency Update Team keybase.io/simotek SUSE Linux Adelaide Australia, UTC+10:30 GPG Fingerprint: 5B87 DB9D 88DC F606 E489 CEC5 0922 C246 02F0 014B
