I have an AMD 64 with a DVD a cheape BTC DVD burner. on ASUS motherboard. I am trying to install the AMD64 bit version. It seems whenever I try to add packages, e.g., Java I run into problems with missing packages like the libread-java package. Is there a special way to load the AMD 64 bit version. It seems to be kickiout a lot of the 32-64 bit packagea as can not be found. -- Joseph Loo jloo@acm.org
