[SLE] Problem for compiling kernel
Hi susers!!! I have the following problem when trying to compile de Suse 6.2 Kernel. I go to /etc/src/linux and type make config or make xconfig or make menuconfig and nothing happens. I think that my sister has been playing around removing and installing packages and has removed some package that is needed to compile the kernel. Does someone know which are the packages needed? By the way, someone knows any tool for using Zip drives under X? I tried JaZip and couldnŽt make it work because it didnt find libjpg.so.62. Well thanks!!!! -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ The standard location for kernel sources is /usr/src/linux. Make sure you have lx_suse and all other dependencies installed. Good luck.
