Greetings, I wonder if anyone here knows whats wrong with sarg, I have set sarg to do the user reports by username and not IP-Address. But it is only giving a few usernames. If I run grep username /var/log/squid/access.log for any user who uses the proxy I get tones for each username. Any ideas, here is my sarg.conf access_log /var/log/squid/access.log title "National Golf Network Internet Consumption" output_dir /srv/www/htdocs/squid-reports resolve_ip yes topuser_sort_field SITE reverse user_sort_field USER reverse index yes overwrite_report yes topsites_sort_order CONNECT A max_elapsed 28800000 -- -- Chadley Wilson Production Line Superintendant Pinnacle Micro Manufacturers of Proline Computers ==================================== Exercise freedom, Use LINUX =====================================

It is Stupid but what can I say: Sarg maps the username to the IP address, and in order for it to work you must add all the systems to the hosts files or DNS. This is a bit dumb if you asked me, as now if I logged in at some one elses PC and did some porno surfing they would get the blame, NOT me? -- -- Chadley Wilson Production Line Superintendant Pinnacle Micro Manufacturers of Proline Computers ==================================== Exercise freedom, Use LINUX =====================================
