It seems that postfix does not have any support, as supplied, for things like LDAP, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. I'm also not very familiar with RPMs (more familiar with other package management systems). If I decide to compile in my own version of postfix. Then how can I remove the postfix package without violating the RPM requirement for a smtp_daemon? Do I have to make an RPM in order to allow this software to be installed?
Hi, I've built rpm Postfix packages for SuSE 8.2 with Mysql support. See ftp://ftp.oxixares.com/pub/rpms/SuSE_8.2/postfix-2.0.12-2_my.i386.rpm ftp://ftp.oxixares.com/pub/rpms/SuSE_8.2/postfix-2.0.12-2_my.src.rpm Hope this help you. Guillermo. On Thursday 19 June 2003 11:58, Tom Allison wrote:
