New subject: [SLE] X constantly hogs CPU by 20-30+%

      Hi!

I do run 8.2, XF86 4.3.0-63 (build on my own), have a Geforce2 and have
the latest nvidia driver installed.

Right now this is what top says

X *always* hogs my CPU by at least 10% and usually by something between
15-30% - no matter whether somethings is happening on screen or is not
at all.

Once X even allocated 1.3 GB (!) of swap but even when I disable swap
completely top goes 256m.

What's going wrong??
