Hello everyone I havent been active on this list for over a year, but recently purchaced Suse 6.4 and installed on a laptop. Here's the specs HP Pavillion N3310 500mhtz amd k6 dual boot with w98. Trident Cyberblade video chip uses 8 meg "shared" memory I does 800x600 nicely in 98... but for the life of me I cant get it to work on Suse. Ive tried Sax - The resolution is *gigantic* so large I cant even exit ;-) xf86config - Tries all combonations of settings I get the same giagantic screen xf86graphic mode - Tried all setting combinations... same thing Ive installed all the approaite servers (I think)Ive got about 6 installed Apparently when I installed I missed the "monitor detection" Any ideas? I really have to get an 800x600 going btw. Suse has done a fabulous job with their new distro.
