What's the easiest way to update KDE to 3.2 beta 2 ???
Should I include the URL to one of the repositories (in Change Installation Source) or is it a simplier way? In what order should I pick different packages? When you upgrade this kind of "essential" part of the OS, is there something I should be aware of (besides crossing my fingers :) ??

... i havent payed attention, but if the 3.2 stuff is out in suse's ftp site, i'd do it this way, that way, things are resolved. if they're just a bunch of rpm's, just download them to a single dir and execute rpm against them -- << http://michaeljtobler.homelinux.com/ >> I'm for peace -- I've yet to see a man wake up in the morning and say "I've just had a good war." - Mae West

I downloaded them all with wget to a separate directory KDE3194. CTRL-ALT-F1, logged in and did "init 3". cd KDE3194 rpm -Uvh --nodeps --force *.rpm init 5 I've been running it for quite a while without problems. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce .... Hamradio G3VBV and keen Flyer Linux Only Shop.
