Network browser in SuSE 9.0
When I try the desktop local network on SuSE 9.0, I get an error that it there is no network, however, I have setup the network card and the smb client. I can login with the smb client also, Win2k Network BTW. Any suggestions on how to get it to work? Am I missing some other configuration? Art
More info: Apparently the local network icon calls Konqueror with smb:/. Then is when I get the error message libsmbclient reported an error, but didn't specify what the problem is. This might indicate a severe problem with your network - but also might indicate a problem with libsmbclient. It asks to do a tcp dump but I do not know how to do that, and send it to KDE.org buqzilla. If I look in the syustem log, I get Oct 29 13:59:28 Sporthorse-Linux winbindd[1782]: new_cli_nt_setup_creds: auth2 challenge failed STATUS_BUFFER_OVERFLOW Oct 29 13:59:28 Sporthorse-Linux winbindd[1782]: [2003/10/29 13:59:28, 0] nsswitch/winbindd_cm.c:cm_get_netlogon_cli(779) Oct 29 13:59:28 Sporthorse-Linux winbindd[1782]: error connecting to domain password server: STATUS_BUFFER_OVERFLOW Anyone knows what this means?
