I'm looking for a file called libXm.so.3, which I believe is part of the Openmotif package. Does anyone know if there is a SUSE 10 rpm available (it doesn't seem to be on the repositories), or is it necessary to compile from source? -- Pob hwyl / Best wishes Kevin Donnelly www.kyfieithu.co.uk - KDE yn Gymraeg www.eurfa.org.uk - Geiriadur rhydd i'r Gymraeg www.rhedadur.org.uk - Rhedeg berfau Cymraeg www.cymrux.org.uk - Linux Cymraeg ar un CD -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

But of course! I had what I thought was an equivalent repo to this in Smart, but it wasn't showing a package for OpenMotif, and Googling suggested that after 9.0 it was no longer part of the default SUSE package. I now need to look at what the distinctions are between the address you have kindly given me and the repo I have. -- Pob hwyl / Best wishes Kevin Donnelly www.kyfieithu.co.uk - KDE yn Gymraeg www.eurfa.org.uk - Geiriadur rhydd i'r Gymraeg www.rhedadur.org.uk - Rhedeg berfau Cymraeg www.cymrux.org.uk - Linux Cymraeg ar un CD -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

Good heavens, is that Irish? I only know three spoken languages that don't have much, or any, relationship to the spelling-- the worst is probably Irish, the next is French, and then, of course, English. Almost all other European languages are spelled phonetically, and they are updated regularly so as to keep that true. Oh, well-- --doug

Welsh (although I am Irish). See the websites in the sig. You are right, Irish does have quite an unwieldy orthography, but that is largely because of the number of phonemes it has - it is actually pretty regular. Welsh has a a smaller number of phonemes, and a very regular sound/spelling correlation. -- Pob hwyl / Best wishes Kevin Donnelly www.kyfieithu.co.uk - KDE yn Gymraeg www.eurfa.org.uk - Geiriadur rhydd i'r Gymraeg www.rhedadur.org.uk - Rhedeg berfau Cymraeg www.cymrux.org.uk - Linux Cymraeg ar un CD -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com
