[SLE] About Rogers@Home and SuSE 6.1
I've currently acquired the cable-modem service in Vancouver Canada from Rogers, and I was trying to get my SuSE 6.1 box running with dhclient (standard from the CDs). I've try connecting without the DHCP with the static numbers that they provide.. and I've try to set up dhclient to work with the service, nothing worked.. I've disabled the PnPray mode in my 3com card, and in Win95 the service is fine, only I cannot setup to make it work under Linux... Could someone help? I just setup my laptop to use SuSE on a cable modem. Make sure that you have installed the dhclient and it is running. On my system it wasn't installed and I had a few minutes of head scratching... The dhclient without mod's works fine. Gerry On Fri, 25 Feb 2000, Calyth wrote:
