I updated yast to the 5.2 version (.83?), and i tried to get it to set up my ppp, but it could not find the suseppp package. I looked at the suse ftp site, and it wasn't there (i checked their directory). where can i get this, besides buying a five dollar cd?
Aaron, Go back to YaST, CD1. I believe it's in the Networking set of packages. (The same thing happened to me). Check suseppp, start installation and finish YaST. Now you'll have it. Good luck. Any of you S.u.S.E-ers running Xemacs with Mule (multilingual language support)? I'm running Xemacs v. 20.4 compiled w/ Mule support on S.u.S.E. 5.2, and I get the following error message when I set the language environment to input method "japanese-egg-sj3": EGG: Network client (sj3) not found Afterwards, I'm able to type in 2-byte "kana" characters, but these cannot be converted into 2-byte "kanji" (Chinese) characters. (BTW, for all you vi devotees, I'm running Xemacs strictly in viper (vi emulation) mode, except when using Mule) Glenn -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
