[opensuse] CPU frequency policy changing by itself
Hi! My new openSuse 11.1 is working quite nicely on my laptop, but kpowersave behavior looks very odd. Under KDE 3.5, I set the CPU frequency policy to "save energy". Now, when I switch to another session (CTRL+ALT+F8) and then back to my session, kpowersave is using the "dynamic" policy. This happens when running on battery power as well as when plugged in. It will also reset the "performance" policy to "dynamic". The other user is not running kpowersave, and it does not matter whether the other session is KDE 3 or TWM. Actually, it even happens when I change to text mode. Is there a log for stuff like this? Can anyone reproduce it?
