Direct cable connection with Linux
I need to transfer some data to a SuSE 8.0 machine from a Win2K machine using Direct cable connection using a parallel port cable. I don't done this between Win2K <-> Win2K machines. How do I do this using SuSE 8.0 <- Win2K machines?

I think there is a parallel port protocol called PLIP that can be used between Linux machines, but I don't know if it works between Linux and Win2K. If you can use ethernet instead, a crossover cable would be much easier. Best Regards, Keith -- LPIC-2, MCSE, N+ Right behind you, I see the millions Got spam?
