Does anyone have an Epson C82 printer running successfully on SuSE 8.1? If so, how hard was it to set up? (It's not on their support database). I need to replace a printer, and Fry's has a great price on this model. -- Penguins eat butterflies, don't they?

How about running the C82 with a printserver? I have an Epson 740i right now, running with an Axis 1440 printserver attached to my Ethernet network (DHCP & NAT on a 3Com ISDN modem/router) ; it's my second 740i (I wore the 1st one out) - I know i'll have to get another printer at some point fairly soon. Right now the 740i and Axis work fine with the six macintoshes and two Linux boxes I have on the network. Epson does not admit to whether or not any of their current printers will work with 3rd party print servers. Can anyone cast light on this? On Saturday 22 March 2003 06:12, Michael Galloway wrote:
