I don't know, but you can test your own machine by downloading the 'live cd' version (run from cd) and test it yourself. Look at www.linmodems.org They have a program that will scope out your chipset and take you from there.

I am thinking about installing Suse Linux 10 on my IBM T41 Laptop.
What I need to know is if it will work with the bulit in 56K modem or not.
I still have need of dialup capabilities for the Internet from time to time.
