[opensuse] Where is the plain "times" font in Libre Office?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I want to use fonts Times (not Times New Roman) in Libre Office Writer. It is a printer font. It is not in the list of fonts that LO displays. Previously, in Openoffice, I had to go to Tools/options/LO Writer/Compatibility -> mark Use printer metrics for document formattings. But this has no effect now. Is this a bug? - -- Cheers, Carlos E. What I need is fonts that get mapped to the PDF included fonts: ,----[ Base 14 Fonts ] | 1. Times-Roman | 2. Times-Italic | 3. Times-Bold | 4. Times-BoldItalic | 5. Helvetica | 6. Helvetica-Oblique | 7. Helvetica-Bold | 8. Helvetica-BoldOblique | 9. Courier | 10. Courier-Oblique | 11. Courier-Bold | 12. Courier-BoldOblique | 13. Symbol | 14. ZapfDingbats `---- I want the fonts that do not need to be embedded in the generated PDF, but use the internal fonts instead, saving space in the file. I can force typing "Times" in the font selection box, and it works, but why can I not display and select it in the list as the rest of the fonts? - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
