[opensuse] source for installer?
I've become curious about the working of the installer. Where can I find the sources? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

http://svn.opensuse.org/svn/yast/trunk or in source packages for the version you're using. Reading http://forgeftp.novell.com/yast/doc/SL10.2/ and http://en.opensuse.org/YaST_Development#Getting_Started_with_Development might help. There is also a yast-devel@opensuse-org mailing list. _ Benjamin Weber -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Depending on what you are interested in, you might also find this presentation (video and/or sample code) interesting: http://www.suse.de/~sh/ "Workshop: YCP Tutorial" This gives some insight how to add simple things and (as a side line) also about the general architecture. Reading the sources (there's quite a lot of them: 400,000 lines of C++ code, 617,000 lines of YCP code, 1,017,000 lines of code total) might get tiresome really quickly -- and raise a lot more questions than it answers. ;-) CU -- Stefan Hundhammer <sh@suse.de> Penguin by conviction.
