From time to time in the past, people on this list who had just migrated from windows had complained about command line unix irc clients. The SuSE distribution includes zircon, xirc, and tkirc, but for those of you who have tried those and they just weren't quite what you wanted, head over to <A HREF="http://www.gtk.org/~trog</A">http://www.gtk.org/~trog</A>. That is the home for bezerk, a gtk based irc client. I am using gtk1.0 and it compiled and ran fine on my box. I have been a devoted BitchX user for ages, but for those of you who find bx and ircii an unfriendly environment, bezerk is worth a look.

Ouh, thank you anyway, but excuse me. I was not clear. I was asking about a free irc server to connect, like irc.undernet.fr or any.
I ask because the ones that are here in Spain aren't free. You have to pay to connect to them. Sure there must be free irc server where you can connect to with good linux channels. That is what I ask for.
Thanks again.
