Good day,
my command line futzing is very rusty so please forgive me.
What is the point of this:
cp -a suse/i586 /data/tmp/suse92/ cp -a suse/i586 /data/tmp/suse92/suse
Does it copy the same source directory to two different destination directories? If so, why?
Best regards :o) Johnny :o)
Hey Johnny;
Take a look at "cp -Rp" it might save you some work.
Good dag Donn, I know, but that was not the reason for my question. Someone asked if someone else could see anything wrong with the script code splitting a double layer DVD. I ran over the code, and tripped upon the above two lines. To me it looks like they make two copies of the same stuff and thus will cause the data to take up double space. Whatfore? Best regards :o) Johnny :o)
