I installed OpenSuse10 on my nx6110. Everythinkg seems to be OK except of sound. I can hear some sound in KDE when error occurs but no sound with totem, or xmms. juraj
If you're using KDE you might try to disable aRts in the KDE Control Center. I haven't had problems with aRts but some people do. Perhaps disabling it solves those problems. I would recommend you Kaffeine and Amarok instead, anyway. They integrate much better in KDE and Amarok is 100 light-years better than XMMS. Juraj, Try restarting the alsa daemon. I had issues with alsa and NLD9, it took a few attempts to kill it and restart it, but once I did the sound was great. Regards, Andy
