Hi All, I need some help with a SuSE 8.1 installation. I am using it at work (it is so nice to have my machine crash every ten minutes (11 if I am using micro$oft!)) and love it. I tried installing it at home on an H-P Pavillion 6330 model with an AMD K6-2 (300mhz) with 160 mb of ram. I have switched the settings in the BIOS to reflect a unix machine, but it still runs very slow and I am having problems with mouse recognition (very poor on my Logitech 3 button mouseman, serial port and yes, I checked that part of the installation and made sure that I entered the right info) and it doesn't recognize the onboard modem at all. Has anyone had any experience with the Hewlett Packard Pavillion series? Am I screwed? Thanks for the help.
