[opensuse] Re: Post to opensuse@opensuse.org denied
HI I'm not sure why this email was rejected. I don;t use HTML by default, there were no attachments and it wasn;t a mail from another list. The only thing i can think of is the related to the last paragraph of the email were i tried unsuccessfully to change the font and font size of the couple of lines i cut and paste from Yast and this fooled the list into thinking it was one of the 3 things offered as a reason for it being rejected. regards Ian On Wednesday 21 Nov 2012 20:33:00 opensuse+owner@opensuse.org wrote:

Hi
Can anyone help? I've been under the impression that when you download/install nvidia drivers, all the files should reflect the same release number or it will fail to work as their is a mismatch of release numbers.
Is this true?
Yast is showing these files are ready for download where the first part of the release number matches (304.64) but the rest doesn't - is it safe to download and hope it will work? (I got bitten a few weeks ago downloading an update to nvidia and losing the GUI completely and ending up with CLI only.):-
nvidia-gfxG02-kmp-desktop : 304.64_k2.6.37.1_1.2-21.1 x11-video-nvidiaG02 : 304.64-22.1
(Fuck... i've tried to make the font bigger on the above 2 lines that i cut and paste from Yast but kmail composer ignores all attempts to change the font or its size)
regards

It's HTML, maybe that's sufficient. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (3.4°C) http://www.dns24.ch/ - free DNS hosting, made in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I don't understand how that happened then as i have the composer set to use only plain text. All my other emails to the list are accepted okay.
