Hi all, Some of you here, I am sure, use or have tried to useSodipodi for some of your vector graphics work. You might have heard about the new program & group that have recently branched off from that project. This new project is called Inkscape and it seems to have a more solid road map for it's future. The developers have already made some very nice changes and feature additions and many more are planned after the holidays. The interface changes alone make the program worth using for doing vector graphics. The folks developing Scribus alerted me to the project as Scribus uses & works well with SVG artwork. The reason I mention all this is because I built a SuSE 9.0 rpm file for Inkscape. The file is posted on the Sourceforge project site along with the src.rpm. Here is your site for the file: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=93438 Here is your site for the program & more info: http://inkscape.org/ I hope you find it as much an improvement over Sodipodi as I did. Happy drawing! Happy Holidays! Lee -- --- KMail v1.5.4 --- SuSE Linux Pro v9.0 --- Registered Linux User #225206 On any other day, that might seem strange...
