[opensuse] Missing key on Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E430
Hi list, I installed openSUSE 12.3 on a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E430 from Brazil (pt-br keyboard) and the "/?" key does not work. So far I just did a BIOS update to the latest version 2.54 but no luck :( It needs a quirk even with Windows: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/diagnose-and-fix/detail.page?DocID=HT037686 Any help appreciated. -- Marcos -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
Added Option "XkbModel" "thinkpad60" to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/90-keytable.conf and it is working. :) Btw, I could not find in YaST a way to edit this. "localectl --no-convert set-x11-keymap br thinkpad60" will do the trick too... but it will create a new file /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/00-keyboard.conf instead of edit 90-keytable.conf. "--no-convert" is to avoid /etc/vconsole.conf creation (if the console keymap differs from the current one defined in /etc/sysconfig/keyboard) and save SUSEisms... :-p -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Yast is pig-ignorant about systemd. In newer versions it knows some very basic things about it though. -- "Judging by their response, the meanest thing you can do to people on the Internet is to give them really good software for free". - Anil Dash -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
