Hello David, I did what suggested. My Linux was almost launched - an error occured:

Try booting from the SuSE cd and select "New Installation" then after selecting the language you get to choose again "New Installation" "Upgrade an installed system" "Boot installed OS" Select "Boot installed OS" this will scan for a root partion . And hopfully give you a choice of XP or SuSE
