[opensuse] ccsm and compiz Solved!
David Rankin, I want to thank you very much for helping me out with getting this running. It's great now! I did solved the one last problem I had w/ the workspace switching by in the general options --> desktop size I set everything except Horizontal Virtual Size to 1. Now I have the cube effect (well now a sphere) when I switch desktops. Thanks again. -- Michael S. Also with the new version of compiz, don't forget to enable "Opacity, Brightness & Saturation" in ccsm. It is not enabled by default in this version. It provides the [Alt+middlemousewheelscroll] for making windows transparent. If you set the "Step" to 7, this is useful for viewing covered windows without having to shade or minimize the active window. -- David C. Rankin, J.D., P.E.
