Hello, I'll try this again....Has anyone found the solution/reason for menus in KDE not showing <more> and further menu choices? This happened out of the blue and apparently not just to me. Resolution does nothing to fix the problem. SuSE 6.4 and KDE 1.1.2. If you have the answer, I'll be your friend for life.......I really hate annoying things like this. -- TRBishop tb64710@ltec.net Registered Linux User #12043 -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

Long time ago, I had the same problem. This happened after using KMenuedit. After diff'ing various file in the $KDEDIR/applnk directory I found only one really difference: "SortOrder=..." in the file .directory. After removing the "SortOrder=...", the "More" was back on the last visible menu entry. So this worked for me. But then again, I already had reports that it didn't work for others. Whatever the outcome, diff'ing files for relevant changes seems currently the only way to track things done to it's origin. HTH,
Thankyou, friend. I've never used Menuedit, so I'm still curious why this sort of thing occurs for no apparent reason. Hope it's fixed in KDE2. Thanks again. TRBishop tb64710@ltec.net Registered Linux User #12043
