[opensuse] openSUSE 13.1 - KDE - Is it possible to set 802.11 mode
I'm running 13.1 on a ThinkPad that's capable of 802.11 b, g & n. Is it possible to select a specific mode? Today, I wanted to do some testing to ensure that b & g couldn't connect into an access point configured for n only, but I had to run Windows to do it. Is there any way to do this, without having to boot into the dark side? I'm using the KDE network manager. tnx jk -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

tnx jk Hi Use iwlist <iface> modulation to see what the interface supports and iwconfig <iface> modu <setting>.

I just tried iwlist and the response was "unknown modulation information". -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
