[opensuse] Re Evolution in Suse 10.2
Has anyone seen this error message when trying to activate Evolution in Suse 10.2? If so, any clue as to what it means? Enter password for default keyring to unlock The application Evolution-2.8 (/opt/gnome/bin/evolution-2.8) wamts access to the default keyring but it is locked Thanks, Rob -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Yep.

I've reported that to Novell's bugzilla, but the problem is solved by installing gnome-keyring-pam package (Gnome users were called for testing it yesterday on openSUSE GNOME mailing list). You'll just have to put the check on the box when it pops up for the first time, and that's it. It works fine for me on openSUSE 10.3 and Evolution 2.12. Cheers! -- Igor Jagec

I did an install of 10.2 in that last two months. I did notice that Evolution was requesting the password (several times over various days), _but_ after setting the system up for updates, and doing my updates, the patch fixing this was applied. I haven't tried it on 10.3 yet, as my e-mail is done on a 10.2 system. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
