This is probably the worst problem I have had with SuSE 7 so far. (actually the only problem I have ever had with any SUSE) SaX2 rendered my KDE incapable of doing anything. The only thing that works on the KDE desktop now is logout. Maybe it doesnt like me. I wish I stuck with SaX ( that was nice) never had any problems there. SaX2's auto configure gives me a terriable screen resolution also. My moniter can support much better but when I try to select a higher res it says out of range but I know they arent out of range.>????/ It does find my vodoo fine though. thats one good thing Thanks, Jim Pharis __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? So why do you accept the default and don't choose "Run sax" in the sax2 menu (which is actually "run sax2", very confusing, I admit)? Sax is for XFree86 3.3.6, sax2 for 4.0, by the way. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
