This folder only contains a readme-file announcing that things will happen sometime in the future (My future is now) ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/9.0-PatchCD/ (SUSE LINUX 9.0) Now the same patch CD exists for x86_64 systems. Is there a chance that it would work on my motherboard ?? This one: ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/x86_64/supplementary/9.0-PatchCD Or could this trick work: Install in "compatibility" (bios) mode on a IDE (ATA) drive. Then update with latest kernels Switch back to "Native" mode Add the SATA drives And start enjoying the power of my new PC Johan PC specs 1 P4C800-E Deluxe, Intel i875P, DDR400, SATA, FireWire, Gigabit LAN 1 Pentium 4 Prescott 2.8GHz FSB800, 1MB Cache (Socket 478) 1GB Dual 512MB DDR550 (PC4400) 1 Millennium P650, 64 DDR, DualHead, AGPx4, Bulk (1 old 60GB IBM HD to help this thing going ) 2 SATA Drive('s) Western Digital WD2500JD 250GB Digital doc5+ fan-control and temperature messurement http://www.studiedata.dk/productlist.asp?Fane=COLD,COBL NorthQ 4100 ATX-Power Supply 500Watt, Lownoise 12 db, Temp.
