[opensuse] 12.2 and xine
I have used xine to watch digital TV (dvb) for years - until I installed 12.2. While xine plays DVDs it will not provide TV viewing. When I start xine I get an error message stating, "There is no MRL" and then, if I continue by clicking on the DVB tab I get an additional message, "Sorry, no valid channels.conf found" - which I *know* exists as I have been using them in 12.1 and they are also used in VLC (which I use successfully). Anyone have xine working for TV viewing or have any idea what the problem may be to cause the above error messages? I have searched around but only found some info which goes back to 2010 and concerns Fedora and Red Hat (and the files these refer to are not installed or belong in openSUSE).
