[opensuse] How can I set up an NFS server
Recently I installed Leap 15.1 on one of my computers. Since there is no NFS server available any more in Yast, I tried to make it run manually, setting up an /etc/exports file and enabling and starting "nfsserver" in the Services Manager of Yast, but in vain. Can somebody explain me, how to do it correctly? Thank you, Adam! By lack of experience, I did not manage to use zypper. But your answer brought me to the idea to download and install yast2-nfs-server. So, since yast and yast2 now contain "NFS Server" under "Network services", it was no problem any more to make the NFS Server run. You made me think. YaST could add a feature to add missing modules in grey or on another section, and clicking on them would install the new module. Otherwise, people may not know there is a module for doing other things. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. R. Good idea. File an enhancement request :) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

But make sure they use .png icons instead of .svg :) -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
