[opensuse] Mounting external floppy drive
Hi all Running 10.1 with KDE 3.5.1 I am trying to mount an external floppy drive. When I attach it and click on "open in a new window" from the resulting pop up box i get the error : " Method "Mount" with signature "ssas" on interface "org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume" doesn't exist " Can somebody point me to where to fix this please ? Hi, I already asked exactly the same questions a few weeks ago. But I never got an answer. It seems to be related to bug #175590. Which is closed as a duplicate of #164327. Bugzilla says "You are not authorized to access bug #164327." As many of our customers need external usb floppy drives, it's very important for us, that this bug will be fixed. They are currently using SuSE 10.0 without any problems. Kind regards Martin Pley On Monday 20 November 2006 04:27, michael norman wrote:
