[opensuse] weird digikam problem
Dear Listmates, I have a weird problem with digikam 0.10.0 (running on kde 4.4.1, OS 11.2). When clicking those small icons and trying to view the bigger image, no bigger image appears, but simply a text saying "Cannot display preview for XXX.JPG" (XXX being the filename in question) After trying to find something from the configuration menus for ~ 30 min. without success, I decided to send this e-mail.. In Dolphin - Settings > Configure Doplhin > General > Previews (Tab) "Maximum file size" is set to 5 MB here. Hi Rajko & List, Thanks for the suggestion, but it did not help.. I had already put the preview size to maximum (something like 100 MB). In digikam, even if I right-click the image and choose edit, I get the same error. If you are using KDE SC 4.4.1 on 11.2 you must be using the KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop repository, which also contains digikam 1.2.0 (and contained 1.0 and 1.1). Could you see if the problem goes away with a newer version? The Digikam developers fix a lot of bugs.
