The Comcast droids only understand Windows since that's how their cookbooks are configured.
Before you call them, the IP address of the cable modem is usually 192.168.100.1. You can test to make sure that your configuration is set up on your NIC card. - -- Jerry Feldman <gaf@blu.org> Boston Linux and Unix user group http://www.blu.org PGP key id:C5061EA9 PGP Key fingerprint:053C 73EC 3AC1 5C44 3E14 9245 FB00 3ED5 C506 1EA9 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2-rc1-SuSE (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/b6qB+wA+1cUGHqkRAjelAJ41U35lLiqUbPXYappuFr2JzBBM/ACfXZl3 37wNgBXsbJ8Vv7iND7HrHTQ= =B6Qn -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
