SuSE's web site explains that my SuSE 6.4 CDs don't have it because of US export restrictions and says that I can find it on one of the non-US mirroir sites. Well, I look at many of them and couldn't find any package having a name starting with "ssh".
Okay, here's the thing ;). `International' and `German' distributions are not the same; International being based on (because it is shipped through) the US release. To get SSH, you need to use a German mirror, such as ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/6.4/i386.de/ You can even set up YaST so that this is your installation site if you have a fast connection or a lot of patience ;). -- -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions jpennington@atipa.com | http://www.atipa.com Kansas City, MO, USA | 816-241-2641 x121 -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
