Dear Sir/Madam I have Linux Professional 9.2 and the some reason the CD-ROM drive ejects automatically to no reasons asking for a CD. Excellent place to put my coffee cup. I have the drive as a Primary Master on IDE0 where as my hard drives are Secondary Master and Slave. I installed 9.0 and do not have this problem. Installed 9.2 twice and also run all yast's update. Can anyone shred any light on this bizarre behaviour. If I put a CD in the drive, Linux will eject the disk after say 70 secs. Kind Regards Rob

A search on google including the term 'site:lists.suse.com' for 'cd tray' should answer your question. It was discussed here some time ago. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711 Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery
