-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I've got Corel PhotoPaint for linux which I collected from the Corel site in the days before m$ paid them to quit the linux biz. It uses Corels own wine implementation, (as does Corel WP8) and I had it working fine under SuSE 8.1. I just upgraded to 9.0 but can no longer get Photopaint to work. (I have gotten Corel wp 8 to work on the current system). When run from the command line I get a message that fonttastic is being started, then a progress window opens showing WINE's startup progress (both are the same kinds of requesters that open when WP8 is started) Then after a few seconds the following errors are reported in the konsole window: localhost being added to access control list err:win32:CRITSECTION_WaitForCriticalSection Critical section 0x404be9d4 (Unknown) wait timed out, retrying (20 sec) err:win32:CRITSECTION_WaitForCriticalSection Critical section 0x404be9d4 (Unknown) wait failed err:seh:EXC_DefaultHandling Unhandled exception code c0000194 flags 0 addr 0x402cc418 I would love to get this application working under 9.0, my wife and daughter are quite fond of it. BTW I do have the compatability libs installed Thanks for your help - -- dh Don't shop at GoogleGear.com! -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAK8lgBwgxlylUsJARAl7ZAKCCwsLdjEu/02LLwPG4CLkpr8S9FwCfck7+ LbOzB7uoD5rP/E2MST5TTYc= =3Ku7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
