Try CTRL+ALT+ESC and you mouse pointer turns into a skull & bones icon. Then click on the window you want to kill, YaST in this case.

Hmm. Is that a KDE only thing? I tried it and didn't get the skull & crossbones. I'm using Gnome. Or is there something I need to install? I need a GUI equivalent of kill, I guess.
Okay, so I'm not the only one!! I have had three occassions since upgrading to 10 to do a ctrl+alt+esc and notice that I no loger get the kill icon. What's up??
