I'm thinking of dropping in a TV card in a extra SUSE box I have for a TiVO thing... before I invest the time I've got one stupid question, (so far) How do I get the TV lists of what is on? Is there a site listings somewhere? Some extra software other than MythTV or what have you? Thanks, George

Where do you get the listings for your regular TV? (I get mine from The New York Times.) <http://tvlistings.nytimes.com/nyt/grid.asp?partner_id=nyt> But if you live outside that area, your big-city paper where the TV stations are located is likely to have an on-line listing. Or one of the Sunday papers may have a guide for the coming week--the Times used to, but gave up in the face of the myriad of cable channels, and is now strictly on-line only. --doug

Hello George, checkout Freeguide. It works well, can be a little involved in setup, but the maintainer is very helpful. http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeguide-tv/ HTH Allister -- Public Key to be found at www.keyserver.net. Search for tag@ukfsn

Or "Maxemum TV-Guide" if you want a nice Qt/KDE interface as opposed to a Java one. However, Freeguide, Maxemum TV-Guide and MythTV (and others) all use XMLTV to retrieve listings, so you'll need that anyway. I don't think SUSE provides an XMLTV package, but Packman does. -- Steve Boddy

MythTV can do this. If you are in North Anerica, you can use Data Direct. If not, install xmltv and MythTV will use it. Please refer to the MythTV docs. Charles -- /* James M doesn't say fuck enough. */ linux-2.4.3/net/core/netfilter.c
