I needed to do something to take my mind of things this afternoon, so I took up James Knotts challenge of getting khrono to work. I picked up khrono-2.0 (from Axel von Arnims website) and made it compile with KDE3. I've sent Axel an email at vonarnim@club-internet.fr, but as it's not clear if he's still using that address, I've also put up a tarball here: http://jessen.ch/files/khrono-2.1.tar.gz I am by no stretch of imagination a KDE programmer nor packager, so there's room for improvement. For one thing, I couldn't get it to package right, for another there's something not quite right with how the .moc files are built. Input much appreciated. To build the current tarball, same procedure as always: ./configure make (I haven't tried a "make install", so ...) If I don't hear back from Axel, I might think about putting up a page with this tarball and an RPM. /Per Jessen, Zürich -- http://www.spamchek.com/ - managed anti-spam and anti-virus solution. Hopefully, you'll be successful.
Did you try it ? I've got it running on SUSE 10.0 quite well. /Per Jessen, Zürich -- http://www.spamchek.com/ - managed anti-spam and anti-virus solution. Let us analyse your spam- and virus-threat - up to 2 months for free.

Um, fairly well that is. When you press a button, the menus don't stay up so you can't e.g. change the theme or read the about page. Fixing that certainly requires more QT/KDE knowledge than mine, unfortunately. /Per Jessen, Zürich -- http://www.spamchek.com/ - managed anti-spam and anti-virus solution. I did try to compile etc., but it's definitely beyond my abilities.
