Re: [SLE] Netscape 6.1: a loser?
I was very disappointed in the performance of Netscape6, so I switched over to Opera. Haven't used it at banking sites though. I've been using Kmail (without KDE). It's not exactly what I want in an e-mail client, but it's close enough for now.

I use Opera also, never have cared for Net or moz. For an e-mail client take a look at Sylpheed http://sylpheed.good-day.net/ It is the fastest I have seen. If you would like more choices look here http://linux.davecentral.com/browse/316/ Charles (-:

Cannot believe that what many consider the very best and most powerful of email clients -- Agent at $40 - or get FreeAgent and play with that - is not mentioned. It is quite excellent in that it does not get screwed into Windows, is just a Solitaire type application, is great about not allowing certain worms, etc into the program, strips attachments off messages as they come in - allows checking by Norton Internet Security, etc and stores the attachments in a separate folder. You actually have to go to the folder and open the attachments separately with Notepad or Wordpad or ACDSee or whatever. you all really ought to try it. chas NEED TO TALK OFF TOPIC AND IT IS KILLING YOU?? I know, sadly - no one has built a program to bring it into Linux. I keep hoping that some Linux cowboy or even Dazler will port it but I am not holding my breath. meantime, it is Wine time I guess. sigh chas NEED TO TALK OFF TOPIC AND IT IS KILLING YOU??
