I hate to tell you - but the Japs have 'highjacked' the beer market too - If you ever get a chance, try a Suntory Lager.... excellent stuff ! I also like Windhoek Lager from Namibia, & Australian Swan Lager.... or...
Good american beer? At least I'm lucky enough to live in the country with the "probably best beer in the world" :-)

Sorry guys but none of you have mentioned real beer, the stuff brewed by real-ale breweries in the UK. my own favourite is Ringwood Bitter but there are dozens more equally good and none of it 'chemically pure stuff' like the lagers you have mentioned.
Well if we're going to this part of the world you just can't beat 49er for a good ol' thirst quenching session. If you want to fall over then Old Thumper also from the Ringwood stable is the brew for you. Anesthetic with pedigree and taste! Hi Kevin True enough. If I am lucky enough to find a pub selling Old Thumper whilst out riding my mountain bike around Dorset I have a couple of pints. Hills don't exist after that - I just float up 'em. 49er is good but I prefer Ringwood Bitter for every day thirst quenching. For those of you who may wonder where this nectar is brewed, Ringwood is a small market town in Hampshire about 15 miles north of where I live on the south-coast of the UK. Bottled beer has one advantage - you can drink it at home :-)) Although the Ringwood Brewery do sell small barrels of their product it does need a bit of tender loving care to keep it in perfect condition and you have to drink a lot fairly quickly. Guess though I am not a true Linuxer - I prefer wine (red from the Tuscany region of Italy for preference) to beer. Beer should be drunk alone or in its lager form with curry. Since our main meal of the day, 5 days out of 7, is pasta we need the red wine with that. A good healthy combination, in moderation of course ;-( - To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e
