[opensuse] ssh yast module
Dear List, The other day I upgraded to 13.1 without much trouble. I am still missing the nvidia repository but that will probably come online sometime in the future. My question here is about the yast module for sshd. It has gone missing in opensuse 13.1. Is there any particular reason for that? I always found it convenient to set it up in yast. To get sshd started at boot I had to set it up in system services manager which appears to be a new module, or I haven't paid attention. I am using Tumbleweed and the yast2-sshd rpm from 12.3 is still on my system which is updated to 13.1 and appears to work correctly. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Yes, discontinued, unless it gets a volunteer maintainer. See release notes on your own computer. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 12.3 x86_64 "Dartmouth" at Telcontar)

It is mentioned in the release notes, yast2-sshd was orphaned and removed from the distribution. needs someone to take care of it. I had to set it up in system services manager
which appears to be a new module, or I haven't paid attention.
Yes, service manager is new, a gui to control systemd. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
