Maybe we just need for people to respect the intended function of the list. In the early days transgressors were dealt with swiftly, harshly and in great volume; remember the therm aoler. Today, it seems to be "someone else's job". Until people recognize the lack of order (proper use of the list), the "useless mess of [OT] posting" will continue. The "community meeting place" was designated opensuse-project. Offtopic is opensuse-offtopic. Opensuse@opensuse.org is for the discussion of technical issues dealing with the installation and maintenance of openSUSE.
