Hello, Many people complain that there is no live cd for Leap. But following the "derivative" link, I finally found this studio page: https://susestudio.com/u/kolaflash I only tested the first one: KDE_5_on_Leap_42.1_openSUSE_by_kolAflash.x86_64-0.1.1 and it works very well, it's even able to ask for language at start, and is very small (647Mo you can use your CD's you was thinking unusable :-), it's even installable (not tried) tested on an usb pen drive Notise it's not EFI, so you may have to activate the compatibility mode, like I did. thanks for his author for the work!! jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
http://www.itworld.com/article/3003168/linux/7-things-you-should-know-about-... There was an interesting statement on live CDs. Personally, I am okay with this. As long as I can continue to make OEM installables via KIWI I am happy. -- Roger Oberholtzer -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

I already read this page. Very good for Leap, but for a "seasoned Linux user", there are many errors, by the way I use openSUSE on servers since the beginning, with no problem jdd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
